The business in Eniro Denmark encompasses the product areas Online/mobile, Print and Media Products. In Denmark Eniro does not operate any directory assistance service. Eniro Denmark has a leading position in both local directories and search services on the Internet. Advertising via printed catalogs still accounts for a substantial portion of total revenues. Eniro distributes the local directories Mostrup Vejviser, Den Røde Lokalbog and De Gule Sider. Digital-derived revenues accounted for a bit more than 60 percent of operating revenues. Brand recognition is high in Denmark. Each week the site Krak has some 1.5 million unique visitors. De Gule Sider has some 500 000 unique visitors per week. The traffic to Eniro Denmark’s core sites places Eniro as one of the most visited companies in Denmark.
The acquisition end of 2011 of the local directory competitor De Gule Sider has strengthened Eniro’s position as the largest online/mobile player on the Danish market. The integration of the company has been very successful. To strengthen its position and its network offering in the market for sponsored links Eniro Denmark in 2012 acquired Open AdExchange. The acquisition makes Eniro the exclusive operator to offer a complete solution for sponsored links, which include presence on Google, as well as on the other most visited Internet sites in Denmark.
In addition to consumer-oriented services and catalogs, Eniro Denmark operates a number of business-to-business search and data services. This product area includes the Proff.dk search service and the Krak Markedsdata business intelligence service.
